The Amsterdam World Pride 2026: about acceptance, respect, and human dignity
Amsterdam WorldPride 2026
Seek what unites people. Remove what divides them. For centuries, this has been one of the guiding principles of Freemasonry. Freemasonry begins with the conviction that every person is equal in dignity.
Freemasonry is about personal development, freedom of thought and respect for others. For more than three centuries, people from different backgrounds, beliefs and walks of life have met in our lodges — not to change one another, but to understand one another better.
We believe that everyone has the right to be themselves and to choose their own path in life. Freemasons therefore seek what unites people and try to remove what divides them.
During WorldPride in Amsterdam, from 25 July to 8 August, we reflect on the importance of acceptance, respect and human dignity — not only today, but every day. These are not temporary themes. They are values that deserve our attention every day.
Because society becomes stronger when everyone is given the freedom to be themselves.
Happy Pride. 🏳️🌈
